Strawberry Wilderness Community Clinic

The Strawberry Wilderness Community Clinic (SWCC) is a team of physicians, physician-assistant, medical assistants and office staff committed to providing their patients with the best quality medical care.  We live and work in Grant County enjoying the close relationships we are able to build with patients and their families.  We provide comprehensive primary care including clinic visits, in hospital care, multiple procedures and coordination with specialists.

Located in the Blue Mountain Hospital, we are open Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am to 3pm.  Patients can often complete an office visit, lab testing and radiology (x-ray, CT, ultrasound, DXA scan or MRI) without leaving the facility.

Appointments can be made by calling (541) 575-0404.

We provide the following clinic services:

We are a Rural Health Clinic and are committed to providing care to all patients in Grant County.

Providers

Clinic physicians include Drs. Andrew and Andrea Janssen, Dr. Louise LeDuc, and Dr. Zachary Bailey.  Each of us has completed rigorous medical school and residency training and we are all board certified in family medicine.  Also part of our medical team is physician-assistant Kristina Uehlin.  We are assisted by an excellent team of medical assistants.  Together we are committed to providing the highest quality of care.

We are also committed to ongoing medical education discussing cases with colleagues, keeping up on current medical literature, and attending conferences to incorporate the latest medical advances.

Procedures

Providers are skilled in the following procedures:

Dr. Andrew Janssen also provides endoscopy services including colonoscopy for colon cancer screening and polyp surveillance as well as upper endoscopy (EGD) for evaluation of esophageal and stomach problems.

Specialist Care

The providers of SWCC work closely with specialists in Bend, Portland and Boise to assure each patient gets the best quality care in the most efficient manner possible.  Often a conversation between physicians can minimize or eliminate the need for out of town travel.

Referrals to specialists are coordinated by Denice Murrill.  She would be happy to answer your questions.

SWCC is also pleased to host a variety of specialists who visit either once or twice a month.  They include:

Billing

For better or worse, billing is an important part of modern medical practice.  We accept almost all medical insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid.  We have a sliding scale fee for patients without insurance and we strive to ensure services are affordable.  We work hard to send out bills in a timely and accurate fashion.  If you have questions about your bill, please contact Pam Durr.

Office Management

Our clinical team is lead by our office manager, Barb Oliver.  She would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
